Accessibility Statement
Systems Design West, LLC is committed to making this patient billing portal accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We design and test this site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
How we verify conformance
Accessibility here is continuously verified, not just promised:
- Automated testing on every release. Each deployment is automatically scanned with the industry-standard axe-core accessibility engine against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rule sets. A release is blocked from publishing if any violation is detected.
- Consistent, vetted markup. Every agency page is built from a single shared library of accessibility-reviewed components, so conformance is uniform across all sites rather than varying page by page.
- Representative coverage. Our automated checks run against pages covering every section type and both English and Spanish — and because all pages share the same components, this validates the markup used site-wide.
Most recent automated verification: June 10, 2026 — 0 WCAG 2.1 AA violations across the sampled pages.
Accessibility features
- Semantic landmarks, a single page heading, and a logical heading order
- A "skip to main content" link and full keyboard navigability
- Color contrast meeting or exceeding WCAG AA
- Descriptive link text, with a cue when a link opens in a new tab
- Alternative text for images and correct page language (English and Spanish)
Known limitations
Automated testing detects many—but not all—accessibility issues, so we also rely on manual review of our component library. In addition, some downloadable PDF forms originate from individual agencies and may not yet be fully accessible; if you need a document in an accessible format, please contact us and we will help.
